Jonathan R. Menefee |
Jonathan was the 2004 Democratic Candidate for Virginia’s 4th Congressional District. Jonathan went from an unknown, 25-year-old activist to the leading Democratic voice in his Congressional District. Despite having less political experience than any other candidate for federal office, Jonathan garnered more votes than any other challenger in Southeastern Virginia.
For the past 5 years, Jonathan has served as Human Resources Manager and Business Development Director for his family-run business, Puryear Trucking Inc. Jonathan honed his political experience as the Manchester, NH Field Director for the 2004 Edwards for President Campaign and as the Northwest Regional Field Coordinator for an Illinois Senatorial bid. |

Corey D. Hernandez |
| Corey is the Chairman of the Isle of Wight County Democratic Committee and a vice-chair of the Virginia Association of Democratic Chairs. In two short years, he reorganized and re-energized the committee as well as launched an impressive fundraising and GOTV campaign. Corey is currently an engineer at NASA and is the founder of Hernandez Technology Consulting, which specializes in offering novel, technology based solutions for Democratic political campaigns. |

Kara A. Grygotis |
Kara was the Campaign Manager for Menefee for Congress 2004. She took on an unknown candidate and developed a real grassroots network, which garnered 36% of the vote. Kara, a lifetime Democratic activist and campaign veteran, is originally from Chicago, IL. She also has a professional background in financial operations and charitable fundraising. |
