Sooner or later, Virginia will go Blue. And when that happens, we’ll start sending Democrats to the White House on a regular basis. It’s going to happen. Time, technology, and demographics are on our side. The far-right agenda and growing arrogance of the Republican Party’s leaders make it inevitable. But timing is everything. The Southern Donkey PAC is a collection of Democrats working at the grassroots level to provide leadership at all levels in Virginia -where the Republicans have ruled, unchallenged, for far too long. We intend to take back the Commonwealth, one Local Office, State Delegate and State Senator at a time. SODOPAC will be working to create a well-trained and extensive political network for Democrats throughout the Commonwealth. Our field work-oriented PAC will be the beginning of a Revolution. In 2004, Virginia Democrats experienced the beginning of a renaissance. We must keep that momentum going. SODOPAC will be working with the local and congressional committees, active volunteers and newly recruited Democrats to ensure each and every voting precinct is fought for on Election-day. |
